Atomic Ambassadors - Sustainability Strategy for Skiing

Global player and Austria based ski manufacturer Atomic briefed students of the Master Programme with the task to develop concepts for a more sustainable skiing adventure of the future. Thus Atomic intensively increases their efforts to provide a more eco-friendly sporting experience. One of the possible ways to decrease waste and impact of sporting goods is the concept of sharing economy. The featured student team used an in-depth field research to ask skiers about the circumstances that can increase the interest in sharing sports equipment. The led to a result called "Atomic Ambassadors". This exclusive club provides its members with equipment and information which are not available elswhere. It consists of an entire customer journey with touchpoints as the service of delivery/collection of the lent equipment, easy and quick ski swap depending on the type of ski holiday, exclusive skiing gear, an app with recorded ski data and a network of other club members and much more.
