MultiMediaTechnology, 2016

Reality Ruckus is a 2D semi turn-based Roguelike, developed by Lukas Rosenberger, Philipp Welsch and Philipp Wimmer.

In Reality Ruckus, you are a hero who has been chosen to restore order to time and space following a catastrophic event which collapsed multiple realites into each other. Along the way you will team up with other heroes who have been forced to leave their dimension. You will have to explore randomly generated areas and face a multitude of foes in order to collect fragments of an artifact, which is the only hope to restore order back to space and time. Upon finding the artifact fragment in an area, your hero will have to travel to the next dimension, where he will have to face new challenges.

The games main feature is its tactical combat system. Each character has four skills that roughly fit into the following categories: - A physical attack, such as the Plasma Rifle Shot or Fireball - A special action, like the Pommel Strike, or Mind Control - A turn-ending action, Active Cammo or The Blessing of Cthulhu - Moving Every skill has a cost associated with it, which is payed using the caracters AP pool. The order of combat is dependent on the characters "fitness" ratio, which is its current AP divided by its maximum AP. The character with the highest ratio gets to make its move. Once every unit has used all its AP or skipped the turn, all AP are replenished and a new turn starts.

The ultimate goal is to collect the artifact from every setting. Currently, Reality Ruckus features two settings, Sci-Fi and Cthulhu, both with its own music and art assets.
